About Us

The BMX Shop was founded in 2001 by André Martin. André originally founded the City of Pineville's Kees Park BMX track in 1997. The track grew so successfully that it was relocated to its current location near the Red River and was renamed P.U.R.E. (Pineville's Ultimate Racing Experience) BMX. 

As the sport of BMX grew in Central Louisiana, André realized there was a great need for someone to supply the BMX community with specialized service. He started the BMX Shop in downtown Pineville in the same building as his cabinet shop, Precision Woodworks.

The BMX Shop ventured into online sales as riders from outside the Central Louisiana area found out about his great selection of products and service and wanted an easier way to order. Now the BMX Shop sells throughout the US through its website and eBay sales.
